Come Support the Ligerbots!

Everyone loves frozen yogurt, so come have some, while also supporting our team and a local business! The LigerBots are having a fundraiser Thursday, September 29, at Yogurt Beach, 665 Watertown St, from 12p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

We’ll also be showcasing our robot from noon to 3 p.m. Bring your friends and family! Be sure to mention “LigerBots” at checkout so a portion of the proceeds can be donated to us. We hope to see you there!

The LigerBots have launched into pre-season with a bang! We are excited to see new members joining the team who will soon be engaging in projects and training made by existing members.

This past weekend we attended two outreach events: one at Whole Foods on Washington St. and Newtonville Village Day. There was a lot of interest in the robot by both kids and parents; we had two great days!

All LigerBots are encouraged to support their team by mentioning the LigerBots while buying frozen yogurt at Yogurt Beach on Watertown St. on Sept. 29. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the team. We will demonstrate our robot at the store from noon to 3 p.m. Bring your friends and family!

All new and returning team members, parents and mentors should register on the LigerBots website as soon as possible. You are an official LigerBot only once you have registered! There is a registration link under the login window. Parents of students should also register; students, please ask your parents.

Once your registration is approved, you will be ensured of receiving LigerBots team emails and you will get access to pages behind the login such as the team directory, facebook and internal calendar.

This Thursday, 9/22, the team meeting will be held at South, because North will be holding Parents’ Night that day.
