The LigerBots are regular exhibitors at the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Expo at the Newton Free Library every July. The Expo is a gathering of tech enthusiasts, traditional crafters, artists, musicians, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers and students. We take this opportunity to connect with community members and talk about the advantages of the FIRST program. And, our sponsors are on display at every outreach event we do!

The LigerBots get a good turnout of team members at outreach events, even over the school vacation
Which is more fun, shooting, or catching the ball?
The youngsters get to drive the robot while the grownups talk with team members about the LigerBots and FIRST
Kayla helps young visitors drive the robot while Asa gets ready to catch the ball
Watching the robot get repaired can be just as interesting as getting to drive it!
A small visitor enjoys watching Coach Rensing put away the tools
