Help Send Us to the Detroit World Championship!
The LigerBots have qualified for the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Detroit from April 25-28. We ranked 24th out of 209 New
England teams at the finish of the April 11-14 New England District Championship, and won two awards at district level events, earn-
ing the right to join 400 other FRC teams from around the world in Detroit. The team now has only 10 days to arrange for hotels and
bus transportation to Detroit, and is launching a fundraising drive. We don't want to leave anyone behind who is able to join us as
we can't count on going every year. First we need $5,000 for our competition registration fee, and are hoping we can fundraise the
$10,000 for a bus (2 days each way to Detroit). We know team parents will be making significant contributions for hotels, meals and
whatever else we can't raise. To support the team, use one of the “Donate” buttons above, message the team on Facebook, or email
[email protected] if you are a corporate sponsor.
Why Your Company Should Sponsor the LigerBots
Now's your chance to support the future engineers and entrepreneurs of Massachusetts. FIRST FRC is a fantastic program promoting STEM education, but building the robot and attending the competitions is quite expensive. Please consider donating to support the LigerBots in their return to the World Championships.
